What is Coaching?
The Dynamic Life Solutions approach to coaching is one that recognizes that the events of our personal and professional lives happen concurrently; that what happens within our family influences our performance at work and that the demands of the work environment impact our home lives.
What it is:
- A designed, purposeful partnership that helps bring out the best in the client and helps the client to create and live a fulfilling life.
- An interactive process that supports clients in accessing the strengths, skills, knowledge and wisdom they already possess in order to accomplish what they desire.
- A space for inquiry about what you truly desire and what gets in the way.
- A time to focus on you and your goals, away from the distractions of home, family and office that can so frequently pull you off track.
- A way to support yourself in making the lasting changes you have struggled to make on your own.
-
An impetus for moving forward and turning insights into measurable actions.
What it’s not:
- Coaching is neither consulting nor about giving or receiving advice.
- Coaching is not therapy or counseling. It does not focus directly on relieving psychological pain or treating cognitive or emotional disorders.
- About someone else having all the answers. The coach’s role is to provide feedback and an objective, non-judgmental perspective; the client is responsible for taking the steps to produce the results he or she desires.
