Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

How Will We Work Together

"Thanks so much, Kimberly. With all my ideas and tangents, I'm sure I'm difficult to coach. Yet you listened so carefully that you were able to help me see how my "rambling" connected deeply with what I'm trying to do. The decisions I made during our work together have led me to a place I could not have imagined. No more chasing dreams--it feels as if a joyful, rewarding career is unfolding with, and for, me." M.A., Small Business Owner, Massachusetts

Our Coaching Partnership

As your coach, it is my intention to hold your agenda and desires as the top priority of our work. I come to coaching with the attitude that YOU are the expert on your life, and that, primarily, it is my job to help you discover your own truths and your own solutions. I will fully support you to be, do, and have all that you want in life—to help you discover the strengths, skills, knowledge, and wisdom within you to accomplish anything you desire. I do not have ‘the answer’, but will sometimes offer information, suggestions, assessment tools, or other resources that you can use at your discretion.

Our coaching relationship is a partnership that we co-create for the purpose of helping you to identify, pursue, and achieve your goals and dreams. It is rooted in trust, respect, honesty, and open dialogue and communication.

Coaching Sessions/Activities

The exact content of the sessions will naturally vary depending upon client goals but may include the following:

  • Identifying specific goals/objectives/dreams
  • Assessments
  • Determining priorities
  • Identifying strengths and talents
  • Identifying and working through obstacles
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Brainstorming
  • Creating action plans

Coaching is an action-oriented, results-oriented process. Each session, I will ask you what you want to accomplish between that session and the next. Usually, you will come up with the Action Step(s) you wish to take that week. Occasionally, I will suggest something to you. If the suggested actions are too much, or not right for you, just say so. If you want to achieve more, say so. We will work together to assess whether or not your weekly action step(s) is/are realistic, and achievable in that time frame.

Our Communication

As your partner coach, I promise that all information provided to me during our time together will be kept confidential. Throughout the working relationship we will engage in direct and personal conversations. You can count on me to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests. Please understand that the power of the coaching relationship can only be granted by you, the client, and you agree to do just that—have the coaching relationship be powerful. If you believe that the coaching is not working as desired, you agree to immediately communicate that to me and both of us will take action to remedy the situation.

As each coaching relationship has its own requirements, our communication process will be tailored to meet your needs. This includes the option of meeting in person or by phone, as well as needs for on-going support by phone or email.
